Landon’s Gift

These drawings were among the first work made in my studio with my collaborating partner, Rhonda Neufeld. We met over a period of several weeks to talk and work. We were curious about whether we could make art together and what it might look like. Landon Mackenzie had given me a small plant for the studio when I moved in and in its withered and neglected state it became the subject of these drawings made from observation. All of the drawings are on 10″ x 22″, Arches Cover paper and were completed in 2007.
