David Alexander's exhibition opened tonight at the Bau Xii Gallery. Here he is reprising his kabuki Dave chops as demonstrated a few years back.

All this week, Rhonda and I have been at the Thames Art Gallery in Chatham, ON. This is the ninth and final venue for our show Chance Operations².  We have been making some art here, running community workshops and talking to students from high schools in the area. Tonight there was a reception at the Gallery for our exhibition and two others that are up concurrently by Ron Shuebrook and Stefan Rose. All of the exhibiting artists were present. Also in the house were painters David Urban, Sky Glabush and John Kissick (who curated Shuebrook's exhibition). Kissick and Urban wrote essays

Photo credit to Rhonda Neufeld. Here I am this morning in Hamilton,ON with my good friend Alan Flint. Alan is one of the stalwarts of print in Canada. We are in a local park looking at his sculpture "The Sentence".

Rhonda and I are getting down to work again. Finally we are finding an opportunity to print the woodblocks that we cut last summer in Saskatchewan. We are printing at Kamloops Printmakers in Kamloops, BC. Here is the print from the block cut at Spring Valley. We have thirteen large format blocks from which we intend to print seven images in small editions. This work and the drawings also completed last summer in Saskatchewan will be the core of our exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Regina next February.
