There are lots of artists in the neighborhood around my studio.  Also, rehearsal spaces for bands, dance studios, design studios and coffee joints. We have seen one or two movies or television shows filmed here, too.  Over the past four days a crew built this set in the middle of an intersection just two blocks away.  Work went on nearly twenty-four hours a day - re-routing traffic and putting security people everywhere.  It is only the facade of a house you can see through to the other side.  I wonder what is going to happen with that worm hole?

Rhonda and I are working in Saskatchewan all through the month of July.  We have a show at the Art Gallery of Regina in 2014 and are taking an early opportunity to get some ideas together for it.  The joy of being here is that it gives us a chance also to re-connect with friends.  Tonight we had supper with Ryan Arnott and Marsha Kennedy who is curating the show.  I caught some light-hearted moments on my camera.
